Medjool Dates Stuffed with Mixed Nuts






Ingredients:

12 large Medjool dates
12 whole cashews
12 whole almonds
12 walnut halves
12 whole plain pistachios
12 whole hazelnuts
12 pecan halves

Instructions:

Prepare the Dates:


Using a sharp knife, make a small slit along one side of each Medjool date. Carefully remove the pit, ensuring you don't cut through the date entirely.

Stuff the Dates:


Insert one whole cashew into the first date. Press the date gently to close around the nut.
Repeat the process with the remaining dates, stuffing each one with a different type of nut: almond, walnut half, pistachio, hazelnut, pecan half, and Brazil nut.

Arrange and Serve:


Arrange the stuffed dates on a serving platter.
Optionally, you can drizzle a small amount of honey or date syrup over the dates for added sweetness.

Presentation (Optional):

For an extra touch, sprinkle a bit of sea salt or finely chopped fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme over the dates.
You can also lightly toast the nuts before stuffing them into the dates for added flavour.
